Connecticut

Central Greenwich and Backcountry South rank 68th, with 11 of 12 homes built in 1980 or earlier, a share of 91.7 percent. Connecticut’s overall share, 62.0 percent across 108 homes, is the highest of the four states.
Massachusetts and New York
Needham leads Massachusetts at 34th nationally, with 15 older homes among 32. Lexington and Wellesley Hills share 118th place, each with 7 of 21.
In New York, the East End leads. Southampton ranks 47th with 13 of 16, and Westhampton Beach is 85th with 9 of 15. Scarsdale, in Westchester County, is 120th.
The Jersey Shore
New Jersey’s top two are shore towns. Ocean City ranks 50th, with 12 older homes among 31, and Long Beach Township is 70th, with 10 of 40. Paramus, in Bergen County, is third in the state.
